Credit and Collections Assistant
Responsible to assist customers in carrying out the credit and collections process related to delinquent accounts as well as processing accounts for litigation and bankruptcy. Assist in all areas of the Credit and Collections Department.
HOURS are 9am-8pm Wednesday - Saturday 4 day work week
1. Prepare and mail various letters such as bad check, collections, audits and general response letters.
2. Prepare account audits and mail, fax or email to appropriate party.
3. Evaluate, research, and validate requests for customer account adjustments.
4.Provide superior support to customers, and other company departments by providing requested information or workable solutions to customer account, billing, bankruptcy, credit granting and/or litigation matters in a timely and courteous manner.
5 Receive customer payments, post to customer accounts
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
1.High school diploma / GED
2.Two years of collections, billing, or customer service experience.
3.Ability to communicate effectively with management, courts, outside attorneys, customers and personnel by telephone, or through written communication;
4.Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).
5 Strong analytical skills, problem solving and decision making abilities.
6.Effective time management skills and the ability to multi-task.
Pay up to $13.00 and $13.50 if Bi-Lingual
