·Set up new and maintain existing vendors within our accounting systems (JD Edwards and Workday)
·Process invoices: ensure all general ledger coding, general ledger periods, and due dates are met; completed accurately and timely using multiple Accounting programs
·Review and verify electronically scanned invoices for payment processing in accordancewith Accounts Payable guidelines and check-in process.
·Manually clear various types of payments within systems
·Research vendor statements to resolve discrepancies with branches and vendors.
·Maintain vendor files; correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
·Produce monthly reports, assist with month end closing, and provide supporting documentation for audits.
·Work in travel and entertainment processing web program verifying expenses to actual receipts.
·Two year Accounting or Business Degree
·1 – 2 years of experience in a corporate accounts payable position
·Computer proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general internet applications
·Experience working with JD Edwards and Workday is preferred
·Effective and efficient communication skills; both written and verbal
·Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning financial aspects of the company
·Attention to detail while maintaining a high level of accuracy
·Ability to multitask is a must; work daily within multiple Accounting programs at once
