As a Food Engineer, you will coordinate and execute tests in the Research and Technology Center. This requires extreme accuracy as you critically evaluate the test results. You will prepare test data summaries and reports and critically review and update testing procedures and methodologies. You will provide technical support to customers and internal functions and manage projects and exploratory tests.
THIS POSITION REQUIRES:
BS in engineering, food science, food engineering, or biological sciences
Background in fruit and vegetable processing
Proficient in MS Office applications
Strong working knowledge in statistics
OUR PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS ARE:
MS in related field
Technical background in citrus systems and operations; Experience in customer relations.
Experience in managing pilot plant and laboratory activities and personnel, experimental design, and knowledge of food processing equipment.
