The Role: Vice President of Sales
Accountable for the quota attainment of sales revenue objectives.
Responsible for developing and executing sales and product marketing plans and strategies.
Directs and coordinates sales professionals to attain revenue goals and objectives.
Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine sales progress toward stated goals and objectives with management team.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training sales personnel; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

The following skills/attributes are required:
A minimum of ten years of successful business development and sales management experience within the network, security, consulting, or data center hosting services arena.
Previous experience penetrating mid-market and emerging large customers to achieve strong, productive and lasting relationships. Proven track record of leading successful sales teams that consistently are exceeding aggressive sales quotas.
Strong experience using a selling system like Sandler to effectively sell value-added technology solutions with more than one success story.
Strong presentation and closing skills that can support a team of Business Development Managers.
Goal oriented, high energy with strong values, and commitment to mentoring a growing team.
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into customer-specific business terminology.
Strong coaching skills in nationally recognized sales process that has yielded succeed in multiple environments.
Successful leadership experience in a high growth environment in the technology space.
Existing customer and partner channel relationships within the Florida market.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, MIS, Engineering, or Technology-related field required.
Moderate travel is required.
Not required, but highly desirable:
• Deep set of relationships in the Florida technology markets.
Industry technology credentials.
MBA or other graduate-level degree preferred.
Experience with Cloud, Disaster Recovery, Data Protection and Managed Services.
