As a Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE) Supervisor you will report to the FJS HSE Manager.
Supervise the health, safety, environmental and security program to ensure compliance with established policies and OSHA regulations.
Lead the HSE efforts for the Liquid Foods Division through collaboration with other domestic and international site safety personnel.
Lead division HSE efforts regarding OSHA compliance – compliance with Federal, State, Local and Corporate requirements relating to training, recordkeeping, waste water, permits, reports, policy and procedures and other related compliance issues.
Assist to Develop and implement programs to ensure the safety of all on-site and off-site employees.
BS in Occupational or Environmental Health/Safety related field
Five to Ten years related position in manufacturing environment
Related regulatory regulations (OSHA, EPA, and Corporate management system requirements)
Emergency response skills
Crisis Management and communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Medical (first-aid) equipment and Industrial Hygiene equipment
Employee must attend training to keep up to date with current regulations and latest technologies related to HSE. Examples are Hazardous Waste (EPA-annual), DOT (every three years), OSHA 10 or 30 Hour Industrial Safety (one time), and various seminars regarding worker’s comp, regulatory reporting, ergonomics, remediation, etc.
Industrial Engineering or Safety/Environmental Management Degree
Travel to/from customer sites; training events; other Jlocations to perform audits or other assistance as needed
