Customs Brokerage/Entry Writer
We are seeking a strong, hard-working team-player who has 3 years’ experience as an Entry Writer with the ability to handle ocean and air entries. Must know shipping terms and the fundamentals of CHB operations.
Primary tasks & key responsibilities:
Prepare import documents; Provide excellent customer service; Gather information and make well informed decisions; Forms preparation; Identify and solve problems; Perform data entry; Interface with U.S. Customs inspectors through oral & written communications; Perform filing, copying, and faxing tasks
Required Skills:
Accurate Typing/keyboarding, data entry, etc.
Time management
Detail oriented
Problem solving
Effective verbal and written communication
Knowledge of geography
Knowledge of computer applications (i.e. MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Team-player with the ability to multi-task
High School diploma and 3 years’ experience in related field
